- What is a prospect day?
- A Combine Baseball prospect day is a staff-run event where athletes rotate through stations and our team records their measurements on calibrated equipment. Each number is attached to the athlete's profile with the event, station, staff member and device on record.
- What gets measured?
- Height and weight, plus performance stations that typically include exit velocity, throwing velocity, 60-yard sprint, 10-yard split and pop time. The exact list at any given event depends on the stations that event runs — you'll see the station list on the event page.
- Who can see my son's profile?
- You decide. As his guardian you control which consents are on: whether the profile is publicly listed, whether verified college coaches can see it, and whether photo/video can appear. Nothing is shared beyond the defaults you set. Coaches see a limited coach-safe view that excludes guardian contact details and date of birth.
- What are the age rules?
- Athletes under 13 are never visible to college coaches, and public listing for under-13s requires a paid COPPA-verified parental consent. Some metrics have a minimum age of their own — an eligible metric only appears on the board once the athlete is old enough for it. These rules are enforced by the database, not just by the app.
- How do college coaches get access?
- A coach signs up as a regular user, then applies through Coach access. Our staff verifies the coach against their program and division before approving. Only verified coaches can browse athletes, and only athletes aged 13 and up with coach visibility on will appear.
